Something for the girls this duck-shooting weekend – don’t let the boys have all the fun.

Instead local ladies can bag themselves a fashion bargain at the fabulous Duck Shooter’s Widows’ Designer Clothing Sale in Winton this Saturday.

That’s the message from a group of Southland fashionistas who have coordinated the designer clothing sale as a special treat for “the ladies that get left behind on duck shooting day.”

“There will be hundreds of new, and gently worn designer clothing items on offer, with prices from just $20,” coordinator Mary Witsey said.

“Why should the boys have all the fun – a spot of bargain shopping is bound to cheer up the Southland duck shooting widows who want some entertainment.

“Designer labels include Trelise Cooper, Curate, Nyne, Maaike, Ricochet and Ketz-ke. The quality is amazing, and the range of sizes is quite fabulous too.

“On top of that, any unsold items will be donated to charity so we’re supporting the wider community as well.

“You’ll find us on Winton’s Main Street, at the Mrs Tradie Premises, from 9.30pm to 2.30pm this Saturday.”

Ms Witsey, who is also a colour consultant and fashion stylist, said she would be on hand during the day to help customers put together looks, or find their perfect colour or style.

“Not only will ladies be able to grab a bargain – but they can be sure it will be one that suits them perfectly and that they’ll want to wear time and again.”
