Local artist Caley Hall has been recognised for his contribution to community work with a nomination in the 2018 New Zealander of the Year Awards the winners of which were announced at our gala celebrations in February.
As the New Zealander of the Year Awards honours those who use their passion to make our communities and country a better place, Caley has been acknowledged with a special Certificate of Achievement signed by the Awards Patron, the Rt. Hon James Bolger ONZ.
He says “I have no idea who nominated me but it’s really nice to know some people care and recognize when you’ve spent years helping community groups and charities with painting donations and free lessons, this achievement award certificate is a real boost and will enable me to do more within the community. I can now say im an award winning artist”
Call into the magnificent art gallery Claridge & Brodrick, Cnr Dee & Tay Streets on Saturday where Caley will be painting from 10am – 2pm.
