Little Shop of Vinyl

A brightly coloured little shop on Spey street ‘Rock’n Rolla Records’ Invercargill’s very own 2nd hand vinyl record shop. They also have a range of 2nd hand cd’s and also has an extensive range of local bands music.

Owner Jay Sellwood tells us vinyl has been on the up and up as more and more people look for that special sound you only get from vinyl records.

Jay proudly explains that the lighting in the shop all runs off a car battery that he takes home and charges, with led lights putting out enough light to showcase the amazing music products for sale.

Rock’n Rolla have everything from vinyl records from heavy metal (Jay was nick named ‘Metler’ in his youth) to pop, disco including Abba, Bee Gees to name a few. Who remembers cassette tapes? 45’s  singles, cd’s plus collectables.

A large collection of music magazines from years gone by before the internet age, books about a wide range of artists, and figurines including Kiss.

And and the store wouldn’t be complete without tee shirts of your favorite artists.
