Invercargill Central Limited – the company behind the multimillion dollar redevelopment of Invercargill’s inner-city is pleased to announce the appointment of Kelvin Mooney to the role of Centre Manager for Invercargill Central.

Kelvin is an Invercargill local and has more than 25 years retail management and holds a Bachelor of Applied Management, Business Administration, Management and Operations.

Kelvin’s previous roles have included Store Manager positions at The Warehouse, Farmers and Smiths City. He has also been a franchise business owner.

Invercargill Central Board Chairman Scott O’Donnell said Kelvin was a standout candidate and he was impressed with Kelvin’s extensive experience in the retail sector and strong connection to Invercargill.

Kelvin is excited to join the team and be part of the city’s transformation that will put Invercargill on the map.

“I’m extremely passionate about Invercargill and I relish the opportunity to lead the newest shopping centre and food and beverage precinct in the Southern hemisphere.

Kelvin commenced the role today, Tuesday 1 March.
The first stage is set to open on June 10, which includes Anchor store Farmers.
