The competition is run by Garden to Table and endorsed by Love Food Hate Waste. It’s aim is to encourage youngsters to use fresh, locally grown produce, and also minimise food wastage. Four teams of two competed in the competition, each team creating two dishes for judging. Winners of the regional competition will be invited to head to Wellington to compete in the national finals in August. Photo: supplied.
