Get your CV jazzed up for this great part-time position, travelling in a brand new (automatic) van around Southland, including Queenstown, Riverton, Te Anau and Gore.
In this newly created role for the Disabilities Resource Centre (DRC) your customer service, product knowledge, research skills and well-developed communication skills – will aid you in providing a much-needed service to the senior and disabled community in the wider Southland area.
Travelling with a van full of disability and independent living aids – to help those either home-bound, less able to travel or living in retirement homes within the region. You will be attending InterAgency meetings, hooking up with other groups and keeping your finger on the pulse of the community.
The role is part-time and based in Invercargill – days of work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, between 20-25 hours per week, with potential to grow. Ideally a people person with a background in the disability or health sector, excellent communication, experience with social media, point of sales systems including Eftpos, and well-developed computer skills. You will need to be a self-starter, who can work independently, making this new role your own.
In addition, you must be able to pass police vetting and have a clean driving record, as well as a full driver’s licence.
