Jo Hutton Takes Helm as General Manager of Stadium Southland

Stadium Southland Limited heralded a new chapter with the announcement of Jo Hutton as the incoming General Manager of ILT Stadium Southland. Hayden Rankin, acting as the Interim Chair for SSL, lauded the high-quality pool of candidates and the intensive selection procedure, which culminated in Hutton’s selection based on her standout “leadership, management and strategic thinking skills.” Rankin expressed anticipation for the impact of these skills.

Hutton herself is enthusiastic about leading the prestigious Southland venue, praising its world-class status and its role in facilitating a variety of events and community wellness initiatives.

To secure the right fit for the General Manager role, SSL engaged an international recruitment agency. Rankin commended Ryan Sycamore, the Operations Manager, for his admirable interim leadership during the search process, which yielded a result that SSL finds thrilling.

As she steps into her new role, Hutton plans to immerse herself in understanding the team dynamics and the business’s operations, asserting the importance of grasping the full picture to lead effectively. Hutton is set to take the reins of her new position on January 8, 2024.
