IRD Reunion Take 2 On This Friday – Are You Going?

It’s three years since the last one and high time for another.

That’s the call from Tracy Kilkelly, organizer of Invercargill IRD Reunion Take 2 here in Invers.

The reunion is being held at the Ascot Park Hotel from 4pm this Friday.

Tracy Kilkelly says the previous reunion was a roaring success with over 100 former IRD staffers attending. Ms Kilkelly adds that this weekend’s reunion looks to follow the same pattern with over 100 people indicating that they’ll be starters.

She says more than a few attending this weekend heard just how good the reunion was three years ago and don’t want to miss the chance to catch up with old workmates.

At least half a dozen former IRD’ers will be making the trip from Christchurch.

Tracy Kilkelly says Covid has unfortunately meant that former workers now living in Australia won’t be able to attend.

Tracy Kilkelly says while there has been a good acceptance rate on a Facebook post she still wants to get the word out as far and wide as possible.

There’s no cost to attend, just turn up and stay for an hour or stay for the duration.

A professional photographer will be there to capture the magic moments.
