Invercargill Police investigating the aggravated robbery of Pomona Street Discounter Dairy last night are appealing for information.

At around 9:30pm two men entered the store armed with a claw hammer and a knife.

One man was wearing a blue hoody with white writing, grey track pants with two blue stripes on each side, black shoes and a black peaked cap.

The other was wearing a grey hoody, grey cap with a red peak, and possibly blue overalls.

Both men, wearing red bandanas over their faces, were described as fair skinned.

Tobacco and cigarettes were taken.  The shopkeeper escaped and was unharmed.
