Road workers will be resurfacing Dee, Tay and Clyde Streets through until March, working at night, to cause the least amount of disruption.

They acknowledge people have had to put up with a lot of road works.

This work needed to get this done over the summer period when there is a good stretch of weather, so there’s as little disruption as possible.

All work will be completed in stages and isolated pavement strengthening will also occur.

The milling phase will involve heavy machinery and will be noisy for a short time. The full schedule of work is programmed to be completed by the end of March, depending on weather conditions.

The work was programmed to avoid the peak Christmas period and avoid working while the Burt Munro Challenge is taking place (5-9 February 2025).

Pedestrians will still have access at all times. There may be restrictions to pedestrian crossings while each section of work is underway, and businesses can still be accessed.
