Eleven lucky Lotto players will be celebrating after each winning $26,312 with Lotto Second Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw.
The winning tickets were sold across the country, including one purchased in Invercargill at Pak N Save Invercargill.
It has also been a lucky week for Invercargill Lotto players. Earlier in the week, a player from the city secured $23,840 after winning Lotto Second Division in Wednesday night’s draw via the MyLotto app.
The recent success follows another major win for the southern city. Last Saturday, an Invercargill player won $500,000 with Lotto First Division after purchasing their ticket through MyLotto.
Tonight’s draw also delivered an even bigger prize for one of the winners. One lucky player also won Powerball Second Division, increasing their total prize to $45,722.
The winning Powerball Second Division ticket was sold on MyLotto to a player from Tauranga.
Powerball Second Division is won when a player matches five Lotto numbers together with the Powerball number. The additional prize significantly increases the value of the standard Lotto Second Division win.
With multiple players celebrating wins in the latest draw, Lotto players across the country will now be looking ahead to the next opportunity to try their luck.
