ILT brings back The Great Pub Cash Giveaway for 2026 with $13,000 up for grabs
Following the strong response to previous years' promotions, ILT is delighted to announce the return of The Great Pub Cash Giveaway for 2026, featuring a total prize pool of $13,000. Locals will once again have the opportunity to win big, with eight weekly $1,000 draws and a spectacular $5,000 Grand Prize.
This year, Editor's Cut joins the promotion for the first time, increasing the total prize pool by $1,000 and bringing the number of participating taverns to eight.
"The Great Pub Cash Giveaway has become a bit of a winter highlight for many of our regulars," said Chris Ramsay, ILT Chief Executive. "By adding Editor's Cut and increasing the prize pool, we're giving people another great reason to visit their local and enjoy what our venues have to offer."
From today, entering The Great Pub Cash Giveaway is easy: just spend $10 at any participating ILT tavern. Each $10 earns a stamp, and once you collect eight stamps, you're eligible for the draw. This initiative is just one of many running across ILT's businesses this winter.
"We've kept the promotion simple so it's easy for people to join in," Ramsay added. "By spending time at our venues, patrons help us continue to give back to the community, while enjoying the chance to win something extra for themselves."
The draws run from 9 August 2026 to 4 October 2026.

- 23 August 2026 - Ascot Sports Bar
- 30 August 2026 - Eastern Suburbs
- 6 September 2026 - Northern Tavern
- 13 September 2026 - The Ave
- 20 September 2026 - The Southland
- 27 September 2026 - Editor's Cut
- 4 October 2026 - Grand Prize Draw
To qualify for a weekly prize draw, participants must be present at the participating tavern during the scheduled draw time.
The Grand Prize winner will be drawn on Sunday, 4 October 2026 at 4pm, and participants must be present at one of the participating venues to win.
