In an amazing coincidence a husband and wife, Don and Lesley Marshall, will receive a couple of great prizes at the Northern Southland Trotting Club meeting at Ascot Park Raceway on Saturday.
The Northern Southland Trotting Club run a competition at all three of their meetings each season making a lucky draw from all the losing tote tickets on each day.
At their first meeting in October Don was the lucky winner before Lesley’s name was drawn at the January meeting. One more winner will join them on Saturday before the final draw to establish who gets which prize. However the Marshall’s are already assured of two of the three prizes no matter which way the draw goes.
