Gore Crash One Seriously Injured, SH1 Now Open

Due to a two car crash near Charlton Lane and Falconer Road, Gore the road is blocked in both directions. Please delay your journey or use an alternative route.

Detour route: Northbound traffic use SH1, turn left on to Racecourse Road, then right on to Charlton Road, then left back onto SH1. Reverse for southbound.

UPDATED: 6:30am SH1 now open

UPDATED: 8:05pm

A St John spokeswoman confirmed two ambulances attended the scene, one patient has minor injuries and another with serious injuries.

The rescue helicopter is on route to the scene.
