Get Into Golf Lessons
Golf Southland’s  free  Introduction golf lessons commence next week Monday 28th February until Monday 4th April at Queens Park Golf Club 6pm-7pm. The six week of introduction to golf Lessons cover all the basic skills including on course play. Suitable for all beginner golfers or those wanting to give golf a golf. Equipment supplied.

Golf NZ Women’s Senior Matchplay Championship
A large contingent of Southland ladies took part in the Championships at Otago Golf Club 13-16th February with some excellent results.
Congratulations to Nikki Hume (Winton)  and Sandra Young (Wyndham) on winning their Divisions. Also to Fiona Robinson (Wyndham) Plate winner, Robyn Boniface (Queens Park) , Nicki Clark (Mataura)  & Barbara Wilson (Winton) Flight 1 Winners, and Judy Matthews (Te Anau)  & Kerrie Gow (Winton) Flight 2 Winners.

Mataura Licensing Trust Handicap Pennants
The first round of the MLT Handicap Pennants gets under way on Sunday 27th February with Division 1 at Tuatapere Division 2 at Riversdale and Division 3 at Tokanui.
