Gin Wigmore, The Angels, Dragon, Pseudo Echo and Mi-Sex have been confirmed for the Gibbston Valley Winery Summer Concert in January 2021.
Greenstone Entertainment marketing manager Hayden Dickason said while the initial line-up was confirmed in March, it had been a waiting game to see if they could bring the big international acts back into New Zealand.
“We’re excited to be amongst the first in the world to deliver back to our fans the vibrancy that live events can bring,” he said.
The sell-out tour of 2020 attracted over 50,000 people at its three show tour which included Taupo and Whitianga.
Dickason said they had been given the approval from Immigration New Zealand for the concerts, giving peace of mind to concert fans that the artists would be able to come and perform.
Tickets go on sale on Thursday October 15 at 7am, priced from $125 + booking fees.
With 11 years of history, Greenstone Entertainment chief executive Amanda Calvert said, after what’s been a turbulent year, they were excited about the opportunity to deliver what will be the best outdoor live music festival event in the summer of 2021.
“Nothing beats a world-class live music experience for everyone’s health and wellbeing.
“Staying true to everything we know and love about the Summer Concert Tour, we’ll be bringing some of the best of classic rock to our stunning New Zealand summer holiday locations of Queenstown, Taupo and Whitianga in January 2021.
