Loving wife and soulmate of the late Stanley (Stan), loved mother and mother-in-law of Sandra (Gore), Darryl and Frances (Balfour), Shayne (Invercargill), loved grandmother of Nicola and Tim Buckley (Sydney), Craig and Talia Marshall (Gore), Megan Laplanche (Perth), Tarryn and Matthew Johnston (Invercargill), Regan Black and Tessa Henderson (Balfour), Joshua Black (Christchurch) and great-nan nan to Brock, Charlee, Ellie, Lucy, Ria, Lucie, Dani, Hudson, Lennox and Finn. FOSTER, Glenise:
Passed away peacefully at Palm Grove Retirement Village, on Sunday, November 2, 2025, in her 87th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Gordon, loved mother and mother-in-law of Michael, Kevin and Kaz, Andrew and Anna, and Paul and Katy. Loved grandmother of Matthew, Simon, Christopher, Rhyse, Braiden, Liam, Matisse, Scarlett, Joshua, and Zachary. Special thanks to the staff at Palm Grove for their care and attention of Glenise in her final years. HUBBER, David Winston:
Sadly, passed away at Southland Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday 2 November 2025, aged 83 years. Loved husband of Helen. Loved father and father-in-law of Michelle, Craig, Luke and Sheralyn, Carmen and Jason. Beloved grandfather of Joshua, Kyle, Brianna, Gabrielle, Hektor, Ruby, and Stella. Cherished great grandfather of Kiara. A service to celebrate David’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Friday 7 November at 1.00pm. Peacefully at Vickery Court on Sunday, 2nd November 2025, with family by her side. Dearly loved wife of the late Norman. Loving mum and mum-in-law of Alistair and Debbie, Sally, and Sharon. On November 1, 2025, surrounded by her family, at Dunedin Hospital; aged 70 years. Loved daughter of the late Ken and Joan, and sister and sister-in-law of John and Sue, and Steve and Cherie. A service to celebrate Joanna's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin, at 11.00am, on Saturday, November 8. In lieu of flowers donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of New Zealand would be greatly appreciated and may be left at the service.
