Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Southland Hospital on Saturday 15th November 2025. Dearly loved wife of Bert Bell*, and Terry Smyth*. Dearly loved and loving mother and mother-in-law of Dawn and David, Ken and Paula, and Ross and Robyna. Loved Grandma of William and Louise, Andrew, Stephanie and Bayden, Sarah and Hamish, Georgina and George, Richard*, Christine and Michael, and Hamish and Sarah. A proud Great Grandma of Zia, George, Tom, Ellie, Stevie, Charlie, Billy, Harry, Jonty, Henry, Elsie, Oscar, Heidi, Lucy, and Molly. A Memorial Service to celebrate Catherine’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Wednesday 19th November commencing at 1pm. Loved daughter of the late Alan (Tosser) and Dulcie Robinson. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Charlie and Jeanette, Vyonne and Ian, Thelma*, Madeline*, Richard and Jenny, Heather-Adele, Mark and Janice, Frank* and Joyce, and Graham* and Moira*. A loved auntie of all her nieces and nephews.
GODFREY, Maxine Joy:
Her battle ended courageously on Saturday, 15th November 2025. Soulmate of Tony. Mum to Daniel, Loretta, and Jordan. Devoted nana, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many. Max lived her 65 years full of adventure and love. She remained true to herself right to the bitter end.
