A suspicious fire overnight at Invercargill’s Queens Park has left four contractor trucks destroyed and raised concerns over the potential impact on ongoing storm recovery work. Suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, 1st December 2025, aged 80 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Stuart Robertson. Dearly loved daughter of the late Ian and Norma Turner. Loved and treasured sister and sister-in-law of Linley and Geoff Gaitt, sister of Ross and Margaret Turner, and sister-in-law of Beth and John* Smith. Adored Aunty Liz of all her nieces and nephews and her great nieces and nephews. A dearly respected friend to so many. A service to celebrate Liz’s life will be held in the Windsor Community Church, 19 Windsor Street on Monday, 8th December at 10:30am.
