Peacefully in the care of Christchurch Hospital on Friday, 9th October 2025, aged 77 years. Dearly loved mother of Jeanette, Stephen, and Nigel. Cherished Nana of Jade, Hare, Olivia and Tāwera and great grandmother (Nan) of Harper. A loved sister of Margaret Horton. As per Gloria’s wishes a private burial has been held. WHITE Allan James:
Very peacefully, on Saturday, 11 October 2025 in Queenstown, aged 97yrs. Dearly loved and adored husband of Betty . Loved and respected father and father-in-law of David and Jayne, Jenny and Ewen and Peter. Loved and adored grandfather of Marcus and Keira, Mariska and Steve, Stacey, Brittany and Matt. Love and cherished by his great grandchildren Baxter, Jack, Beauden, Mila and Emilia. Accomplished and highly respected, throughout NZ as a Sports Dealer. A service to celebrate Allan's life will be held at Lake Hayes Pavilion, Queenstown on 16 October at 2 pm, followed by private burial. Special thanks to the kind, caring and compassionate team at Lakes District Hospital, who took exceptional care of Allan during his last few days and everyone at the Arrowtown Lifestyle Village, where he has happily resided for the last 6yrs.
