Passed away peacefully at Bupa Winara Care Home surrounded by love, on Thursday 16th October 2025, aged 88 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Carolyn. Loved father and father in law of Allan Chin-Poy (Napier), Rachael and Keith Crothers (Invercargill), Jacaleen and Darren Streeting (Waikanae). Loved Grandad and Great Grandad of Laken and Daniel, Olivea, Milly, Zack, Mayson, Breeze, Zane, Ché and Lakyn. Loved brother and brother in law of Jeane and Colin Calvert, Donald Chin-Poy and Val Fordyce, David and Denise Chin-Poy, Kathleen and Steve* Dadic, Ricky and Libby Bennett. Loved Uncle of his nieces and nephews.

PASKELL, Maurice Stanley (of Wallacetown):
Peacefully on Friday 17 October 2025; aged 89 years. Loved husband of the late June. Much loved by his family and friends. A special thanks Hospice Southland especially to Hayley, your kindness is appreciated. A service to celebrate Maurice’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street Invercargill on Wednesday 22 October at 2.00pm, interment to follow at the Eastern Cemetery.
