Loved father and father-in-law of Victoria and Simon Collie. Much loved granddad (and partner in crime) of Alex and Lottie. A loved brother, brother-in-law, and Uncle Dayday. A service to celebrate David’s life will be held in Club Southland, 115 Lett Street, Invercargill, at 11 am, on Thursday November 13. Private cremation to follow. Passed away in the loving care of Ribbonwood Country Home staff, on Saturday November 8, 2025. Aged 77 years. Dearly loved wife of Ray, awesome mum and mother-in-law of Joss and Spinner Smith (Haast), Fiona and Brian Wilson (Australia). Step mum of Bridget Gentle (Balclutha), Monique Gentle (Australia), Simon and Daniela (Australia), Craig Gentle (Dunedin). Loved Nana to all her grandchildren. Passed away peacefully at Peacehaven, Invercargill, on Friday November 7, 2025. Aged 82 years. Dearly loved husband of Janette. Loved father and father-in-law of Craig and Jay (Dunedin) and Liz and Dean (Moa Creek) and the late Russell. Loved grandfather of Aiden. Loved brother of Neville, the late Carol, Diane, and Paul. Special thanks to the staff of Peacehaven and to his friends, Shirley and Eric Daley for taking such good care of Keven. A service to celebrate Keven’s life will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr. Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, at 1.30pm, on Thursday November 13. Private cremation to follow.
