CARLISLE, Enoch. (Alex Crawley):
Tragically, on Sunday, 22nd March 2026. In Invercargill, aged 23 years. Loved father of Calais and Declan. Loved son of Kate Carlisle and Geoffrey and Nelda Crawley. Loved brother of Christina, Scott, Hayden, Nicole, Stephenie, Corey, Kelvin, Alicia, and Kynan. Loved special life friend of Stoney. Loved and very special friend to his fur baby, Moi. A service to celebrate Enoch (Alex) will be held in the Eastside Baptist Church, 2 Glengarry Crescent, Glengarry, Invercargill, on Monday, 30th March 2026 at 11 am, followed by an interment at the Eastern Cemetery. Family requests no flowers, but you are invited to make a Koha (Love Gift) at the service to help the family.This would be gratefully received. Enoch (Alex) will be resting at his brother Hayden’s place from Thursday morning until his service on Monday. FERGUSON, Aaron George (Young Storm):
As a result of a tragic accident on 22nd March 2026. Aged 39 . Dearly loved son of Ray and Louise ( Waikaia). A much loved brother and brother-in-law of Rebecca and Kyle ( Australia), Bryce and Catherine ( Waikaia). Loved fun Uncle of Isabelle, Ainsley, and Arthur. A great mate to many . A service to celebrate and remember the life and times of Aaron , will be held at 2pm, Saturday 28th March, Waikaia Community Centre. Followed by interment at the Waikaia Cemetery. FERGUSON, John Aird:
Peacefully in the wonderful care of Hospice Southland, on 21 March 2026, aged 86 years. Much loved husband of Delva for 60 years. Loving father and father-in-law of Nadine and Colin, Adele and Jared, Annette and Malcolm. Special Grandad of Corinne and Narelle. Grandfather of Krystal, Ruben and Dylan, Geoffrey, Ben, Jamie and Ellyn, Erika and Royce. Brother and brother-in-law of Alex* and Verna*, Dale and Allan, Glenys and Ken. John was a life member of Woodlands Bowling Club, where he spent many happy times. A private cremation and gathering has been held. McRAE, Gordon Francis (Donnie):
Born 20 March 1944 – Passed away 22 March 2026
Dearly loved and devoted partner of Linette Sinclair. Loved and cherished husband of the late Sherrie McRae. Much loved and respected dad of Shane, Brendon, and Paula. A proud and loving Pop of Josh, Cheyenne, Tane, Jack and Niko. Adored Great Grandfather of Kelsi, Tatiana-Rose, and Leilani. Deeply loved and warmly embraced by Linette’s family, and a very special part of their lives. A good man with a big heart, Donnie will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love by all who knew him. A service to celebrate Donnie’s life will be held at the Nightcaps Hall, Johnston Road on Saturday 28th March at 10.00am followed by burial at Wairio Cemetery. All are warmly invited to join the family for refreshments and a time to share memories afterwards at the Nightcaps Hall. RICHARDSON, Trevor Wallace:
Trev passed peacefully at his home on 21 March, 2026; in his 62nd year. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Kath, much loved and respected father and father-in-law of Shane, Libby and Shelly, Shbourne and Bevan, Damian and Brenna, Amanda and Leith, and Liane, cherished Grandad of Matthew, Charlotte, Kenzie, Rylee, Izaac, Bayley, and Maia. A loved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and a friend to many. At Trev’s request a private cremation will be held. A celebration of Trev’s life will be held in the Gore RSA Function Room, 12 Bowler Ave on Saturday 28 March, at 1.30pm to share memories and tell a few stories.
