MULLALLY, Helen:
Peacefully, on Friday, February 20, 2026, surrounded by her family; aged 93 years. Loved wife of the late Graham (Gaffa) and sister of the late Frank Finnegan. Treasured mother and mother-in-law of Sarah and Andrew, Dennis and Sally, Sean and Nicky, Katie and Clayton. Beloved Nana Hells of her grandchildren; Caleb, Jasmine, Sheamus, Liam, Ben, Tom, Bridget, Jake, Eva, Georgia, Kaitlyn, Jonty, Archie and Luchia and great-nana of Payton. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff of Ranui Court Retirement Village in Alexandra for their dedicated care of Helen during her final weeks. A memorial service to celebrate Helen's life will be held in the Fiordland Community Events Centre, at 1.30pm, on Monday, March 9, followed by refreshments at the Te Anau Bowling Club. STEWART, John Richard Crosbie (Jack):
Of Redan, peacefully at Hospice Southland on Friday 20th February 2026, aged 93. Loving and devoted husband of Shirley, for 65 years & 10 months. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Johanna & Donald (Wyndham), Nathan & Carlyn (Redan), Kerryn & Graham (Mandeville). Adored Pop of Tom* Phoebe & Kahurangi, Hazel; Taylor, Lachlan & Greer, great grandfather of Pippa & Elliot. Loved brother & brother-in-law to May* & Hori* Lee, Frank* & Margaret* Stewart, Colleen* & Doug* Atkinson, Douglas & Anita* Stewart. Respected Uncle of his niece and nephews. Thank you to all the staff at Hospice Southland for their wonderful care of our Dad. A private cremation has been held. A celebration of Jack’s life will be held at a later date.
