In his 80th year.Loved son of *Jack and *Patricia.
Loved brother and brother-in-law of Tony and Colleen (Te Anau), *Paul and *Myrtle, Kathleen and *Bill Fozard (Christchurch), Eileen Cox (Auckland), *Olive Jolley, Ann and Trevor Rayner (Alexandra). And loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Michael will be held in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore on Tuesday, April 14 at 1.30pm.

McRAE, Madeline Muriel:
1938 - 2026. It is with deepest sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of Madeline Muriel McRae (nee North), aged 88, who passed away on 2nd April 2026, in the loving care of Bupa Longwood Care Home. Beloved wife of the late Donald John McRae and dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Anthea and Steven, Fiona and Paul, Alwyn and Chris, John and Tessa, and Edwin and Rachel.
Treasured grandmother of Stephanie, Duncan, Malcolm, Ben, Ellen, Hamish, Jeffrey, Margaret, Douglas, Lara, Connor, Luca, Willow and Harper. Cherished daughter of the late Reginald and Doris North, beloved sister, aunt, and friend to many. Following a private cremation, a service for Madeline will be held at 11:00am, Saturday the 11th of April 2026 at Saint Mary's Church, 173 Palmerston Street, Riverton.
