Passed away peacefully at Southland Hospital on Thursday 28th May 2026. Aged 86 years. Devoted loving wife of Leo for 67 years. Treasured Mum and mother in-law of Shirley and the late Mark Keen, Nicol and Sue, Malcolm and Nancy. Cherished Grandma of Tim, Chris, and Bradley (Clarke); Braydn, Jono, Blake and Emma, Emma and John Jamieson, and Meg; Hannah and Adam Hawkins, Destiny, Paul and Lauren, Tommy. Dearly loved Great grandmother of Jay, Louie, Millie, Rosie, Arthur, Alice, Lilah Rayden, Charlie, Cameron, Nation, Luna, Casey, and Xavier. A loved sister and sister in-law. Dearly loved Aunt of all her nieces and nephews, and a great friend to many. BARRACLOUGH, Gerald:
Joining his beloved wife; Beverley Barraclough (deceased). Loved father of Carol, Heather, Sharon, Chris, Jeoff, Arlene, Jane, Grant and their partners. Loved grandfather, great-grandfather, friend and Minister to many. At Ascot Care Home after an extended battle with cancer on May 28, 2026. The Memorial Service will be held at 1.00pm, June 5, at Church@, 46 Oreti Rd, Otatara. Loved brother and brother-in-law of *Noelean and *Gordon Patrick, *Isobel and *Murray Jennings, Marie and Lloyd Anderson, *Douglas Hammond and *Raymond Hammond, Rhonda and *Ray Milne, Susan and Wayne Phillipson, *Lenore and *Alastair Carr, Ken and Gail Shute, *Deane and Bronwyn Shute. Passed away at Clutha Views. Dearly loved husband of Jan, father of Antony, Megan, Michael and Alecia, treasured brother and brother-in-law of Adele and Ted. Respected grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend to many. A service to celebrate Dave's life will be held on Friday, June 5 at 1.30pm in the South Otago Town & Country Club, 1 Yarmouth Street, Balclutha, followed by private Cremation.

It is one year since Dad died on 31 May 2025 aged 91 years.
He was born and raised in the rolling green hills and bush of Glencoe, which will always be in my heart too. He was in his happy place as a problem- solving inventor and I admired his many solutions. Give mum a hug from me Dad. Remembered by Judy x
