LAWTON, Kay Mamae (Nanni K):
Peacefully at Southland Hospital on Tuesday 24 February, 2026 at Southland Hospital. Cherished wife and roommate of John*, dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Matthew*, Nelson, George and Rebel, Sharon and Puddy, William and Rachael, Kelly, Christine and Tawhi, Raha and Ranui, adored Nanni Kay and great Nanni Kay of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren (* denotes deceased). A service to celebrate Kay’s life will be held in the Gore Town and Country Club Stadium, 2 Bury Street, Gore on Monday 2 March at 1.00pm, followed by interment at Charlton Park cemetery to be reunited with John and their adored eldest son Matt. TWEEDIE, Jennifer Dawn:
Jennifer passed on Thursday February 26, 2026. Dearly loved wife of Lindsay, loved Mother and Mother-in-law of Jo and Ben Heslop, Nicola and Vaughan Tweedie-Cunningham, and Mark. Loved and cherished Nan of her Grandchildren. As per Jennifer’s wishes, a private ‘Celebration of Life’ will be held. In leu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society.
