Melanie Genevieve Lindsay (Gregory-Hunt):
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Melanie Genevieve Lindsay (Gregory-Hunt), who passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, on 27 June 2026. A cherished mother to Andie & Shane, Tash, Tracey, and Rachel a much-loved Nana to Shakia & Brandon, Jacob, Kaiden, Ashton, Riley, and Johnny; and a treasured Great-Nana to Ayla and Shiloh. Melanie was also an amazing sister, aunty, and friend to many, whose love, kindness, and strength touched all who knew her. Family and friends are warmly invited to join us in celebrating Melanie’s life. Thursday 2nd July 2026, 1.30pm in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill. Private Cremation will follow. Following the service, refreshments and fellowship will be shared with family and friends. Our beloved Mum will be resting at 91 John Street, and all who wish to pay their respects and say their goodbyes are warmly welcome to visit. We sincerely thank everyone for their love, support, and condolences during this difficult time. NALLY, Vincent Barry:
1943 – 2026
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Hospice Southland on Friday 26th June 2026. Devoted husband of Jan for 58 years. Proud father and father-in-law of Brendan, Patrick and Michelle, Anton and Rachel, Chris and Bridget, Liz and Pete Meulenbroek, Ben and Emma. Loving Da to Brianna, Liam and Tui; Kate, Jack, Tom and Agnes, and George; Grace, Pippa, Sophie and Eva; Josh, Alex, Daniel and Sasha; Maggie, Theo, Nico and their partners. Vince was a loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle.

In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Southland would be greatly appreciated and can be left at Vince’s service. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Therese of Lisieux Church, 40 Perth Street Invercargill on Tuesday 30th June 2026 at 1pm. Interment at Eastern Cemetery will follow.
