(Formerly of Ardlussa, Balfour) – Peace-fully, after a long battle with his health, on Monday, June 22, 2026, aged 80 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Margaret, much loved father of his girls and their partners, Susan and Eric (Sydney), Linda and Jason (Tima-ru), Anna (Invercargill), Michelle and Bronson (Woodlands), cherished Gran-dad of Ryan, and Hayley; Isellah, and Zoe; Connor, and Samuel; and Chloe. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Bill, Raymond* and Viv, Anita* and Colin* McLeod, Tilly and Bill Grant, Gordon and Lorraine Thomas (Christ-church). A service to celebrate Jim’s life will be held in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 1.30pm, followed by light re-freshments, before interment at Charlton Park Cemetery.
