COOK, Ashley:
Of Winton, passed away in Gore Hospital on May 9, 2026, surrounded by family, after a short illness, aged 88 years. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Jan. Loved father and father-in-law of Vickie and Keith; Tony and Lynda. Much loved Grandad of Chelsea, Caitlin, Amber, and Daniel. A service to celebrate Ashley's life will be held at 11.00am, Friday, May 15, at the Winton Salvation Army Centre, Dejoux Road, Winton. Followed by a private interment. LINWOOD, Darren Robert:
At home on Wednesday 13 May 2026, aged 28 years. Dearly loved son of Alana and Dallas, brother of Hamish, Johnny, Alicia, and Kade. Loved Dad of Caiden. The family would like to say thank you “Bimbo” for being that special friend to Darren. A service to celebrate Darren’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Tuesday 19 May at 10.00am. McKEAN, Robert Lionel, “Speed”:
Passed away at Southland Hospital on Saturday 9 May 2026. Aged 84. A loved brother of Phyllis*, and Linda. A loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. As per Robert’s wishes a private cremation has been held.
