20.12.1933 – 28.8.2026
Joan passed away peacefully, after a short illness, surrounded by Family on Friday 28th August 2026. Beloved wife of *Alexander (Lex) John Keith Daughter of *Anna and *Thomas Cowan, sister of *Dulcie Thomas Loved mother of *Wayne and Angela Keith, Lynette (Lyn) and Evan, *Roanna, Nicola and Don, *Margaret, Brent  and Sharon. Treasured Nanna to Jamie, Jenna, Courtney, Tyler, Hannah, Gregory, and their partners. Also treasured Great Grandma to Zachary, Sophie, Liam, Charlotte, Jackson, Joseph, Riley, and Willow. Step Nanna to Ryan and Lydia Special friend to *Nick Bourke. The family wish to express their deepest thanks to the staff of the Edinburgh Wing at Rowena Jackson for their outstanding care, love, and support shown over the past two and a half years. MILLAR, Frances Elizabeth:
Passed away peacefully at Rowena Jackson with family at her side on August 28th 2026 aged 91 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Frank Millar. Much loved mother and mother- in-law of Valerie & Keith Gutsell, Christine & Ross Bulling, Linda & Steve Gallagher, David & Carol Millar. Loved Nana of Christopher, Amanda; Anna, Jarn; Rachael, Richard, Michelle; James, Robert and Kayla. Loved Nana Frances of her twelve great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Rowena Jackson for their compassionate care of Frances. The service for Frances will be held in J Fraser and Sons chapel, corner Esk & Doon Streets Invercargill, on Tuesday the 1st of September at 1pm, followed by a private interment at Eastern Cemetery. TECOFSKY, Ruby Anne (nee Paskell):
Peacefully at Southland Hospital on Sunday 30 August 2026; aged 90 years. Dearly loved and cherished wife of Stuart, loved and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Glenys and Noel, and Wayne and Trudy. A very much loved and adored Nana of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ruby is a loved sister, sister-in-law, and aunty.
Deeply loved and she will be dearly missed
Family would like to thank the staff of the Medical Ward at Southland Hospital, and Ruby’s carers of the Salisbury Wing at Rowena Jackson for the love and care given to Ruby. A service to celebrate Ruby’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Friday 4 September at 11.00am, interment to follow at the Eastern Cemetery. TUFFERY, Veronica Joan (Joan):
Peacefully in the care of Peacehaven Village, aged 92 years. A loved daughter of Francis and Jane Tuffery, sister of Iris Ballantyne and Dulcie Kennedy. Loved Aunt to her niece and nephews. A service will be held at Lindisfarne Methodist Church on Wednesday 2nd September 2026 at 2pm.
