COCKERAM, Elsie Dorothy:
In Christchurch, formerly of Lora Gorge and Alexandria. Dorothy passed away peacefully in the care of the compassionate staff of Victoria Care Rest Home, on Thursday, February 3, 2022, in her 98th year. Much loved wife of the late Bert Cockeram, mother and mother-in-law of Les and Ali (Masterton), Jenny Bodger (Christchurch), and Brian and Jan (Lincoln). Sadly missed by her 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and her only surviving sibling, brother Ern Stevens. A private family cremation has been held in Christchurch with a memorial service to be held in Winton at a later date. Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on February 1, 2022, in her 80th year. Faithful wife and treasured companion of Bill for over 57 years.
