Suddenly at Southland Hospital on Sunday 2nd January 2022. Loved wife and soulmate of Victor. Loved mother and stepmother of Simon, Roy, John-Paul*, Simon*, Gareth, and Dylan, much loved Grandma of all her grandchildren. Loved aunty of all her nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Gillian’s life will be held in the Southland Crematorium Chapel, Rockdale Road Invercargill on Saturday 8th January at 10.30am. Peacefully at Radius Fulton Care Centre, Dunedin, on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Graham, loved mother and mother-in-law of Lindsay (deceased), Roy and Sue (Mosgiel), Allison (Dunedin), Judith and Ron (Dunedin). On January 2, 2022, peacefully at home after a courageous battle; aged 77 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Bob, loved mother and mother-in-law of Geordie and Helen, Terry and Janine, Paul and Melanie, Tony and Sheryl, and Tracy. Loved nan of Sean, Zac, Kirsten, Luke, Robert, Samuel, Lauren, Brock, James; a loved great-nan of Mila, and a loved sister, sister-in-law and aunty. Peacefully in the amazing and wonderful care of the staff at Rowena Jackson Nursing Home, on Saturday, January 1, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Erroll. Most caring and loving mother and mother-in-law of Gail and Derek Orr, Ian (Australia), Doug and Marg. Adored Nana of Aidan and Michelle, Hayley and Regan, Kendal and Hayden, Paige and Hayden, Luke, and Jaclyn. Love great-grandmother of Isla, Sophie, Madison, Cooper, Harper, Evie, and Jimmy-George. Passed away on Sunday 2 January 2022, with his loving wife by his side; aged 83 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Angela and Zol, Benita and David (Wellington), Gene, and Duane. Adored Grandad and great Grandad. Loved son of Frank* and Norma*, loved son-in-law of Mervyn* and Melva* Neilson, treasured brother and brother-in-law of Fay*, Brian*, John, Gavin and Sharon*, Colleen and Alf, and Warren. Dearly loved uncle of his nieces and nephews. Best friend of Sharon and Alan and special friend to Ollie. Special thanks to Dr Bester for his care and attention over the years. Graham will be resting at home until his service which will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street Invercargill on Thursday 6 January at 1.00pm, with private cremation to follow. Passed away at Dunstan Hospital, aged 102 years. Beloved husband of the late Alwyn, dearly loved Dad of the late Nova, Trudi, Andrew and John, and loved by all his extended family. A service to celebrate Tom’s life will be held at a later date. The family respectfully request that flowers not be sent.

O’CONNELL, Maureen Louisa (nee Gardner):
Of Gore, passed away suddenly at Dunstan Hospital on January 2, 2022, aged 77 years. Loved wife of the late Maurice. Adored mother and mother-in-law of Kelvin and Jacinta; Wayne; David and Rachel; Tracey, Dean and *Tony. Cherished and proud Nana/Gran of her 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Much loved sister and sister-in-law of Kathy and *Snow; *Dinny and Pam; Colleen and Ray; Kevin and Sylvena; *Rosalie and John; Maureen and Noel. Special friend of Heather and Ewen.
