van VELDHUISEN – McKELVIE, Tracy Margaret. Peacefully after a brief and unexpected illness, on Monday 1st October 2018, at Hospice Southland. Aged 54 years. Daughter of the late Margaret (nee Hardie) and Gerrit van Veldhuisen. Daughter in law of Edna & the late Ian McKelvie (Mataura). Dearly loved soulmate & wife of Neil (mouse), cherished mother of Amber Rose McKelvie & partner Grant Clearwater and adored grandmother of Dallas. Treasured sister of Michael & Angela (Perth), loved aunty of Hank & Levi. Sister in law of Peter & La (Sydney), Jim (Mataura), Liz (Edendale), Martin & Gay (Invercargill). At Tracy`s wish a private cremation has be held, but we will be having a celebration of Tracy’s life held at The Southland Musicians Club, Preston Street, on Wednesday 10th October 2018 between 6pm & 9pm. FIGGESS, Donna Mariee. Peacefully after a long illness on Sunday 30th September 2018 at Southland Hospital. Aged 55 years. Loved Mother of Robert, Jamye, Reece, Ethan and the late Arielle. Loved Nanie of Lillie, Tylah, Hayden, Lochlyn, Nevada, Kayde & Axel. Loved daughter of Ronald & Marie Figgess. As to Donna’s wishes a private cremation has been held, but a celebration for Donna will be held at her place today Wednesday at 2pm. RAE, Olwen Frances (nee Lewis). Of Invercargill, in her 93rd year. Loving mother of Malcolm and Sarah and loving mother-in-law of Ineke. Loving grandmother of Nicholas. Loving sister and sister-in-law of Ngaire* and Alan* Pritchard and William (Bill)* and Anita Lewis and family. BROWN, Alistair (Aly). Passed away peacefully at Hospice Southland, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. Aged 64. Much loved partner of Janene McIntyre. Loved father and father-in-law of Tiffany and Simon Mills (Cromwell), and Damon and Sarah (Gore). Loved Grandad of Riley, Tegan and Joshua; and Jessica. Beloved son of the late Angus and Margaret Brown, brother of Jude McEwan (London), Jillian Whyte (Perth), David, Heather Gregory, and Kate Coley, all of Auckland, and the late Allan and Murray. A loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Loved member of the McIntyre family. A service to celebrate Aly’s life will be held at J Fraser and Sons chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, at 10.00am on Saturday, October 6, followed by a private cremation.
