Dearly loved wife of Keith for 49 years and 4 days. Loved Mother, Mother-in-Law and grandmother of Jason and Amy, Kane*, Zara and Blake; Vanessa*, Astaria, and Melodie (all of Christchurch). Loved Daughter in Law of Merle* and Albert*. Stephanie passed away peacefully in the care of Rowena Jackson staff in the Edinburgh and Salisbury wings. A service of Remembrance will be held for Stephanie at the Southland Crematorium on Friday 28th October at 3 pm. Please wear rainbow colours as per Stephanie’s wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Southland would be appreciated. Stephanie was a dearly loved Auntie, Great Auntie, Niece Cousin, and Friend to many and she will be sorely missed by all. Now resting peacefully. Passed away, surrounded by her family, at Longwood Care Home Riverton on Sunday 23rd October 2022; aged 94 yrs. Dearly loved wife of the late Keith Dillon and much loved mother and mother in law of Pam and Ray Fleck (Thornbury), Lynette Hourston and the late Ian and Bill Ussher (Earnscleugh), Gail and Phil Ward (Tasmania), Lesley and Ross Carter (Lorneville), Roger and Denise (Invercargill), Raewyn and Alex Fallow (Otahuti), Susan Dillon (Invercargill), Sandra and Peter McLean (Otatara), Robyn Dillon and Damon Campbell (Waitati), Lex and Paula (Nelson) and the late Paul. A very special grandmother, great grandmother and great, great grandmother and a much loved aunt. Sylvia will be resting at 490 Thornbury/Waimatuku Road. A service to celebrate Sylvia’s life will be held in the Riverton Combined Church, Palmerston St, Riverton on Thursday 27th October at 1.30pm. Interment to follow at the Riverton Cemetery.
