DALE, Daphne May:
Peacefully, at Yvette Williams Retirement Village, surrounded wby her family, on May 23, 2022. Dearly loved wife of the late Alan Dale, loved mother and mother-in-law of Helen and John Coutts (St Leonards), David and Diane Dale (Green Island), Karen and Brent Cowan (Broadfield, Christchurch), treasured Grandmother of Hayden, Sophie, and Charlotte Coutts, Oliver, and Annabelle Cowan. Loved daughter of the late William and Agnes Thomsen (Gore), and sister of the late Pearl Thomsen. A Celebration of Daphne’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin at 2.00pm, on Friday, May 27, then to the Port Chalmers Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Of Edendale, aged 73. Passed suddenly on Sunday 22 May, 2022. Much loved son of the late Allan and Vi. Loved husband of Rosamund. Dearly loved Dad of Janeen and Alex, Ian and Jenny, Melissa and Ricky, Kim and Michael. Doting Grandad of all his grand and great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Bruce’s life will be held in J Fraser and Sons’ Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Saturday 28 May at 10am followed by private interment at Edendale Cemetery. STEVENSON, Ian McDonald:
Passed away on April 28, 2022, after a short illness, in Perth Hospital, aged 64 years. Son of Tom and Rhoda Stevenson (both dec) (Wilden and Waimate). Dearly loved Dad of Jason and Michelle, Rachel (Perth), and Sam (Wanaka). Loved partner and soulmate of Michelle. Adored brother of Wendy and Peter (Ashburton), Tom (dec) and Rangimarie (Nelson), Jenny and Ivan (Waimate), and Mary Ann (Ashburton).
