BARKER Maurice Charles. Of Te Anau; In his 85 thyear. Passed away peacefully on Friday 20 July 2018 at Hospice Southland. Dearly loved Husband of the late Celia. Much loved Dad of John and Olina, Stephen and Sarah, Tim and Kim, Loved Grandad of all his grandchildren. Loved Brother of Gertrude, Vera*, Kathleen*, Henry*, and a loved Brother-in-law, Uncle and Cousin. A service to celebrate Maurice’s life will be held in the Te Anau Club, Pop Andrew Drive, Te Anau on Monday 30 July at 1.30pm the funeral leaving thereafter for Lynwood Park Cemetery. WARD, William Thomas Raeburn (Bill). MBChB FANZCA. Passed away peacefully on Monday, 23rd of July; aged 80 Years. Dearly loved husband of the late Brenda. Much loved father and father in law of Roy (USA), and Graeme and Fumiyo Kiyoto- Ward (Auckland). Loved and respected Grandad of Larissa, and Phoebe. Dearly loved partner of Else Steck. Dearly loved brother and brother in law of Peter and Dot Ward (Queensland), Ian and Sharon Ward (Taupo), and Ralph the late Beth Warner (Brisbane). Loved brother in law of Bob and San Carswell (England), and Janet and Don Knewstubb (Dunedin). Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. The family would like to acknowledge the dedication of the nurses and staff at the Critical Care Unit of Southland Hospital. WELLS, Edna Isabel. After a long battle, our mum passed on Monday 23rd July 2018 surrounded by her family, at Rowena Jackson Resthome. Beloved wife of the late George. Loved mother of Jackie, the late Barbara, Steven, Debbie, Paul, Bruce, and Rochelle. A very loved nana by all her grand & great grand children.

A service to celebrate Edna’s life will be held in the Lindisfarne Church, cnr Millar & Lindisfarne Streets on Friday 27th July at 1.30pm. After which a private Interment will take place.
