Sadly, passed away suddenly on Saturday 18 July 2020, aged 82 years young. Devoted husband and soul mate of Noeline. Dearly loved father and father- in-law of Rawiri* and Robynne, Tane and Anissa, Paki and Jo, Luana and Jason. Adored grandfather of Chad, Whitney, Brandon and Kate, Danyon, Josh, Jess, Katie and Aiden, Olivia, and Sam. Jimmy also leaves behind cherished great grandsons Theodore, and Thomas. 19-09-1930 – 20-07-2020, Suddenly but peacefully on Monday 20th July at home, in his 90th Year. Beloved son of the late Frank and the late Violet Darnill. Loved brother and brother-in-law of his twin the late Ross and Irene, Neil and the late Faye. Loved uncle of Scott and Linda, Nicola and Warren Tempelman. Unexpectedly in Queenstown on Saturday, July 18, 2020. Adored husband and best friend of Anna, treasured Daddy of Sophie and Emma. Passed peacefully on Sunday 19th July 2020 at Southland Hospital aged 88. Cherished husband of the late Zelda. Loving father and father in law of John & Debra Nieborg (Gore), Kay & Owen Hall (Christchurch), the late Peter Nieborg, Keith Nieborg (Invercargill), Shirley Barton & Phil Youngson (Timaru), and Paul & Janet Nieborg (Wellington). Adored Grandfather of Brooke, Renee, Ashlee, Jolene, Jai, Kayla, Sasha, the late Korban, Jacob, Jemma, Maia, & Tahlia. Treasured great-grandfather to his 14 great grandchildren. Treasured Uncle and Great Uncle to his many nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Bay’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Funeral Home Chapel, 75 Fox Street on Thursday 23 rd July at 1pm. The service will continue with the interment at the Eastern Cemetery. Died peacefully at Oxford Court Rest Home on July 20, 2020. Loved wife of the late Bob, loved mother and mother-in-law of Wendy and Allan and the late David, loved Nana of Callum and Toya, Braedyn and Georgina, loved Great-Nana of Lillian, and Adaline, loved sister and sister-in-law of Annette and Bill, Julie and Greg, Ron and the late Bernie, loved by all her nieces and nephews.
