With great sadness, Judy passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday 15 th March 2022; aged 54 years. Dearly loved and best friend of Rodney. Amazing Mum and Mum in law of Tim and Jo, Henry and Keely, Grace and Regan, Prue and Cody. Special Nana to Lexi. Adored daughter of Alison and the late John Simpson. Cherished younger sister of Nicky and Ian, Michael and Jane. Loved daughter in law of Jenny, and the late Herbert and the Buckingham family.
A service to celebrate Judy’s life will be held in her garden at 3 Marinui Road, Tokanui on Monday 21 st of March at 1.00pm, followed by a private interment. A vaccine pass will be required and the numbers are restricted to 100. In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated and can be left at the service for Hospice Southland. BUCKINGHAM, Leeanne Marie (nee Stratford):
On Sunday 13th March 2022; aged 54 years. Peacefully surrounded by her family at home, after a year long journey with cancer. Dearly loved partner of Craig Brown; loved and cherished Mother and Mother-in law of Hamish and Hannah, Morgan and Annika; and Grandma to Harriet. Much loved and treasured eldest daughter of Stewart and Jean Stratford; loved sister, sister-in-law and Aunt to Vicky, Steve and Ryan Paul, Daryl, Carmen, Regan and Kelvin Stratford, Katrina, Fergus, Emma, Anna and Libby Templeton. Adored and loved by the Stratford, Lamb, Buckingham and Brown extended families. Our heartfelt thanks to all of the medical specialists and Hospice nurses for their respect and care given to Leeanne over the last year. Aged 78 years, passed away peacefully at Hospice Southland on Monday, 14 March 2022. Special Grandad Fred of Tamara, Callum, Blair, Ruby, Fergus and Jack. Loved Great Grandad Fred of Jett. Best mate of Jack Sheehan.  Fred will be resting at home, 211 Pomona Street, Invercargill until at his wishes, there will be a graveside service in the Eastern Cemetery (Block 53) on Thursday 17 March at 10.30am, to be followed by refreshments at the Georgetown Bowling Club, John Street, Invercargill.
