Loving wife of the late Jim, loved and respected mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother of Bryce and Linda, Paigan, Callum, Lochlan, Finn, and Piper Lane (Christchurch), Graham and Ann, Campbell, and Harry (Gore), Der-rick, Shannon, Jessica, Connor, Georgia, Brenton, and Sharna (Invercargill).

On Thursday, May 9, 2019, in the care of Hospice Southland. Dearly loved husband of Marilyn, and loved father and father-in-law of Paul and Christine, and Mark. Loved brother and brother-in-law of John and Lorraine (Australia). The family wish to thank the staff at Hospice Southland and Fiordland Medical Centre for their care of Lyall. FLEMING, Michael Lee (Mike).
On Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at his home Lake Hayes. Husband of Sandy, proud father of Peita, and Gaby, son of the late Reg and Cherry Fleming, brother and brother-in-law of Rosemary and Leo, and Peter, brother-in-law of Raewyn Anderson, Dennis Asher, and Lyn Asher. A celebration of Mike’s life will be held in Lake Hayes Pavilion, at 1.30pm, on Friday, May 17, private cremation to follow. Unexpectedly at Gore, on May 10, 2019, aged 36. Dearly loved son and stepson of Karen and Stewart Bell. Dearly loved big brother and brother-in-law of Hamish and Janelle. Loved dad of Satori (Invercargill) and Bradley (Owaka). Dearly loved nephew of Trena and Blair Walker and loved by all his cousins. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 1.00pm, at the Ascot Park Hotel. McMAHON, Brother Campion fms (Michael).
On May 13, 2019, peacefully, aged 87 years. Respected and admired member of the Marist Brother’s community, 215 Richmond Road, Grey Lynn, Auckland, Campion, born in Gisborne 1931, was the son of Mervyn and Joan and brother of Denis and his wife Joan. Brother taught in Marist Schools in Invercargill, Lower Hutt, Masterton and many years in both Pakistan and Lapaha, Tonga. A vigil of prayer and memories of his life will be held at St Mary MacKillop Chapel, Mission Bay, Auckland, on Sunday, May 19, at 2.00pm. A Requiem Mass to celebrate his life of service will be celebrated at the same venue on Monday, May 20, at 10.00am. SHEARER, Lyall Edwin.
Peacefully surrounded by family on May 14, 2019, aged 72. Dearly loved husband of Gaynor, proud father of Amelia and Mark Dale, Lauren and Jeremy Langford, Blair and Rose, adored “Lyall” of George, Alice, Ben, and Victoria; Alexia, Sylvie, and Arthur; Annabel, Charlotte, and Harrison. Son of the late Peter and Doreen, and loyal brother of Peter, Grant, and Craig and their families. A celebration of Lyall’s life will be held at Sopheze On The Bay, Caroline Bay, Timaru, on Saturday, May 18, at 2.00pm, followed by a private burial. Peacefully in the loving care of Bupa Ascot on May 14, 2019, surrounded by the love of his family. In his 91st year. Beloved husband for 65 years of Muriel. Loving father and father-in-law of Chrissy and Marcus Karaitiana; Kevin and Ann; Peter and Tracy Taylor; Donna and Wayne Patrick; Anthony and Kimerly.
