BEATTIE, Alma:
Peacefully in the kind care of Rose Court, Christchurch, on July 13, 2020, one day before her 104th Birthday, surrounded by family, an amazing life ended. Dear wife of the late Andrew, loved mother and mother-in-law of Dawn Coburn (Middlemarch), Faye and Sam Smith (Alexandra), Neil (deceased), Lois (deceased) and Dick Horgan (Christchurch), Thelma and Neville Costain (Christchurch). COARD, Carol Robynne (nee Blakie):
Peacefully in the care of Hospice Southland, after a courageous battle on Saturday 11 July 2020. Loving wife of Ian, treasured mum of Steph and Brett Hinz, Jo and Kurt Shearing, Erin and Daniel Black, loved Annie of Brayden, Reegan, Tyson, and Lacey, loved Mammie of Ted, Carly, and Anna, loved Nannie of Kade, and Mila. A loved sister, sister-in-law, aunty and friend. A service to celebrate Carol’s life will be held in the Aparima College Hall, Leader Street Riverton, on Thursday 16 July at 1.30pm. MacMANUS, Gerard Michael:
On Friday, July 10, 2020, at Nurse Maude Hospice, Christchurch, aged 42 years. Dearly loved son of William and the late Heather, and stepson of Sally Riches, loved brother and brother-in-law of Peter and Shelley (Adelaide), Mark and Crystal, stepbrother of Andrew and Louise, Michael, and Scott, and uncle to his nephews and niece. Passed away peacefully after a very long and hard-fought battle on July 13 th , aged 75 years surrounded by family and close friends. Devoted and loving wife of Lex. Much loved mother of Mark*, Christine and Andrew, Stephen and Sabrina, Nigel and Samantha and very special friend of Keri and Lance Pirini. Forever loving Nana to Mark, Takoda, Maisie, and Reggie.
