Dearly loved husband of Ina*, much loved father and father-in-law of Rosemary* and Spencer Hitchman, Lynda Black, and Adrienne and Tim Watts, loved Grandad of Louise, Oliver; Sam; Naomi, and Peter, and a loved brother of Myrtle McKenzie.(*Denotes deceased).
A service for Leslie will be held in Mosgiel Presbyterian Church, 11 Church Street, Mosgiel, at 2.30pm on Monday, December 19, followed by interment in Waikaka Cemetery. HAILES, Donna Maree (nee Cournane):
Formerly of Balfour, Southland. Passed away peacefully on Friday, December 9, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at Christchurch Hospital after a short illness; aged 59 years. Loved and cherished wife of Ronald, precious mother and mother-in-law of Melissa and Aneil, Karen and Jackpot, Peter and Meagan, special grandmother of Ziggy and Eliza. Loved daughter of Coral and the late Desmond Cournane, sister and sister-in-law of Deslee Cournane, Lisa and Max Dunlop, Anthony
and Maryanne Cournane. A cherished sister-in-law of Chris and Gerda Hailes, Anne and Rex Duncan, Rose and Scott Pringle, Michael and Louise Hailes, and a loved aunty to all her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to
St John Ambulance and First Responders, doctors, nurses and staff of ICU Christchurch Hospital for their expert care of Donna. This was greatly appreciated by the family.

LOCKETT, Owen Quentin:
Peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family at Rowena Jackson on Saturday 10th December 2022, aged 83 years. Dearly loved husband of Beverley (Bev). Adored and loved Dad, father-in-law and Grandad (G-Dad) of Phillip and Marg, Hayley, Zak; Sharon and Michael Withers, Chris, and Laura. Loved brother of Tony and Gaynor, Allan*, and Irene*. The family would like to extend a special ‘thank you’ to Trish and all of the staff in the Donovan Unit for their wonderful care and support. A celebration of Lewis’ life will be held at St Thomas Catholic Church, Mountain View Road, Timaru on Friday, December 16, at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation.
