Passed away peacefully after a short illness on 7th January 2022, in her 85th year, with family by her side. Loved daughter of *Jack and *Elsie. Dearly loved wife of Ian for 65 years. Much loved mother, sister, sister-in-law, aunty, and Nan to all her grand and great-grandchildren. At Noelene’s request a private service has been held. Of Woodlands. Loved husband and best friend of Jill. Shirley will be at home (Woodlands) until her final farewell and for one last drink which will be in the Woodlands Tavern on Thursday 13 th January at 11am. SMAIL, James Alexander:
Peacefully, on January 11, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his loving family; in his 42nd year. Loved grandson of Jim and *Doris Smail and *Sandy and *Doris Macgregor, cherished son of Allan and *Linda Smail, much loved husband of Tess, loved father of Jack, a loved brother of Monica, son-in-law to Brendon, brother-in-law to Aroha and Ken, and Millanian, and a loved uncle to Mack, and Meila. A service to celebrate James’ life will be held on Friday, January 14, at 11.00am, at the Toko Rugby Club grounds, followed by burial at Fairfax Cemetery, Milton. Due to Covid restrictions, vaccine passes should be shown at the Club, if you are unable to do so, a section of the Club grounds will be made available for viewing. The service will also be livestreamed for those unable to attend and family or Leishman Funeral Services should be contacted for these details.
