Passed away, surrounded by love, on Sunday, June 30, 2019; aged 92 years. Adoring husband of the late Maida, much loved father and father-in-law of Paul, Sarah and Nick, Simon and Janet, and Maida, adored grandfather and great-grandfather of Lucy, Henry, Victoria and Poppy. Dearly loved brother of Denis and the late Jane, and Graham.

GIBBS, Murray James.
In the care of Clare House, on Tuesday, July 9, 2019. Much loved husband of Beth, and father and father-in-law of Helen and Bryan McEwen, Andrew and Sarah Gibbs, and Israel (David) and Nicola Gibbs. Loved grandad of Claire, Amelia, and Merrin McEwen, Samantha, and Walter Gibbs, and Sarah, and Angelea Gibbs. Respected brother-in-law of Jean Schreuder. A service to celebrate Murray’s life will be held in the Lindisfarne Church, Cnr Lindisfarne and Miller Streets, Invercargill, on Tuesday, July 16, at 11.00am. Aged 64 years. Peacefully on Monday, July 8, 2019, at Gore Hospital. Loved great-grandad of Joshua, Ethan, Danielle and Samatha and great-great- grandad to Harper. A service to celebrate Ron’s life will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Saturday, July 13, at 10.00am followed by interment at Eastern Cemetery. MARTIN, Ian David (Frank).
As a result of an accident in Sydney, on Monday, June 24, 2019; Aged 58 years. Dearly loved husband of Colleen. Loved and respected father and father-in-law of Craig and Sally, Peter and Emma, and Richard. Dearly loved son of Rose and the late Stewart Martin. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Lynne and Nigel McAnelly, Barbara and Merv Frew, Wendy and Errol Croton, the late Philip Martin, and Brendon and Amanda Martin. Awesome uncle to all his nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service for Ian will be held at The Glen Country Club, 69 Conon Street, on Saturday, July 13, at 2.00pm.

McMILLAN, Mervyn Robert.
RNZA 208607. Passed away peacefully at Dunedin Hospital on Sunday, June 30, 2019, aged 89 years. Loved husband of Gweneth, treasured father and father-in-law of Paul and Tina, Lyneen and Michael, Vicky and PK, and the late Mark, respected Pop of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, loved brother and brother-in-law of *Gordon and *Edna, *Reg and *Dot, *Moira and *Tom, Margaret and Bill.

A private family service has been held. The family would like to acknowledge everyone who brought food, flowers, messages of comfort, and all who came from afar to attend Mervyn’s farewell. A special thank you to Heather and Ian for your personal support. We are grateful to the staff at Gore Hospital, Dunedin Hospital, District Nurses, Meals on Wheels, St John Ambulance, La Hoods Chemist, as well as Dr Eoin Park and Dr Claire McAlinden.
