van HARTEN, Marion Irene Isobel. Peacefully after a brief illness, with her daughters by her side, at Vickory Court on Sunday 7th October 2018. Beloved wife of the late Bob van Harten and the late Alex Beker. Loved mother & mother in law of Vonnie & David, Dawn & Ray Clark, Stephen & Maree, Ian & Bronwyn, Neville & Sandy, Graham & Donna, the late Gail Beker and the late Mark van Harten. Very loved grand and great grandmother to all her grand & great grandchildren. A service to celebrate Marion’s life will be held in the Lindisfarne Community Church, cnr of Lindisfarne & Miller St`s on Thursday 11th October at 2pm, followed by a private cremation. ith loving family by his side in Invercargill on Monday October 8, 2018. Loved husband of Diane. Proud father and father-in-law of Debbie and Darren Vaeluaga, Julie and Garry Knipe, and Gary and Ronda. Loving grandad of Bayley, and Rory; Bradly, and Keegan; and Nadya. A service to celebrate Doug’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox St, Invercargill on Wednesday 10 October at 2pm, followed by interment at the Riverton

ZWIES, Ellen Jessie (Ella). On Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at Rowena Jackson Retirement Village; aged 90 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Herbie, much loved mother and mother-in-law of the late Colin, Shirley and Paul Campion-Zwies (Dunedin), Owen and Julianna (Hokitika), Russell and Colleen (Invercargill), loved Grandmother of Craig; Clinton, Nigel, Logan, Joshua, Zane, André; Kystel; Karl and Jessie, and her 13 great- grandchildren. A service for Ella will be held in J. Fraser and Sons’ Chapel, corner Esk and Doon Streets, at 11.00am on Monday, October 8, the funeral then leaving for the East Winton Cemetery (arriving there at approximately 2.00pm).
