BAIRD, Rowena Isabel. Formerly of Otautau. Died peacefully at Vickery Court on 29 July 2018, aged 91. Beloved husband of the late Allan. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Murray, Lindsay and Diane, Stuart and Sue. Loved Nana of Aaron and Paula (Otautau, and Michelle and Chris (Gold Coast), and Grandma of Haden and Bronwyn, Jo and Mark, Alana and Nick. Loved Great-Grandma of Matt and Jimmy Baird, and Isabella Glenister, Connor, Madeliene and Sophie Ridder. A service to celebrate Rowena’s life will be held in Otautau Sports Complex on Wednesday 1 August at 2pm followed by interment at Otautau Cemetery. ELLIS, Daniel Maurice (Dave). Peacefully after a courageous battle on Sunday, 29 th July 2018 in the care of Hospice Southland with his loving family by his side.

Dearly loved husband of the late Isa. Dearly loved father, father- in-law and Grandad of Maria, Blaise, and Bronagh, Bridget-Mary & Warren, Ryan, Seori, and Keegan, John & Nicola, Victoria, and Daniel. R.I.P. Dave will be resting at home 3/209 Teviot Street until his Rosary in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street on Wednesday, 1 August at 7pm and then the service on Thursday, 2nd August at 11:00 am, the service will conclude with the burial at the Eastern Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Daffodil House would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
