CROSS, David Lester (Lester):
After a short illness Lester slipped away peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Ascot Care Home on Saturday 30th May 2020 – just short of his 80th birthday. Cherished son of the late Ted and Evelyn. Loved brother and brother in law of Alan and Maureen, Margaret* and Earle Hibbs, Jim* and Polly. Loved Uncle, Great Uncle and Great Great Uncle of all his nieces and nephews. A funeral for Lester will be held at 11am on Thursday 4th June, J Fraser and Sons Chapel, Corner Esk and Doon Streets Invercargill. Interment at Eastern Cemetery will follow. KEVILLE, Christopher Paul:
On Thursday 28 May 2020 our lives changed forever. Chris passed away peacefully with Jude at his side. The world has lost a loving, intelligent, determined and giving man. Loving husband of Jude (Judy), father of Alana and Grandad of Connor and Wyatt. Loved brother of Sean and Margi, Mark and Anne-Marie and Cate and Dick Borgdorff. Respected brother-in-law of Ray and Karene Phillips and the late Tony and Russell. Sincere thanks to the amazing Oncology team. At peace with his Winter. Passed away peacefully in Kew Hospital, Invercargill. Much loved father, friend and Paha of 10 moko. Hendrix will be at 520 McAlaister Road, Sandstone, Riversdale, from Friday, May 29. The Tangi will be held there on Wednesday, June 3, at 1.00pm. The whãnau warmly welcome anyone who wishes to pay their respects. Hendrix’s final resting place will be at Charlton Cemetery in Gore. Hãkari will be held after the Tangi at 308 Blue Road, Sandstone, Riversdale.
