Died peacefully at Christchurch Hospital on Monday, November 28, 2022, 2 days short of her 88th birthday. Late of Invercargill and Alexandra. Dearly loved wife of the late Michael and dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Simon and Christine (Loburn), Katherine and the late Nik Singh (Christchurch), Steve and Trish (Invercargill), and Leigh (Christchurch). Loved Grandmother of Jenna and Nic Tolchard, Karla, and the late Nik Singh; Raven, Summer and Bea Gooding; Nathan and Katie, Megan, Nina, and Reuben Gooding. Loved great-grandmother of Aubrey and Theo Tolchard, and Bella Gooding. Loved daughter of the late William and Dorothy McJennett, loved sister of Cheryl Baldwin, and the late Bob McJennett.

2.4.1939 – 26.11.2022. Loving wife and best friend of Donald (Ashers Siding). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Peter and Helen, Sharon and Bruce Holden, Stuart and Marie Raki Raki, Tinny and Graham Dainty, Kevin and Vanessa, Anthony and Sonia, and her “adopted” daughter Fernlea Manson. A loved grandmother and great-grandmother. A service to celebrate Lesley’s life will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, Cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Friday, December 2 at 1.30pm. Private cremation to follow. Donations to Hospice Southland can be made at the service. ROBERTSON, William Alexander (Bill):
William passed away in his sleep at Dunedin Hospital on Sunday 27th November 2022, aged 79 years. Loved eldest son of the late William and Jane Robertson, of Bainfield Road Waikiwi. Loved father and father-in-law of Craig (Brisbane), Linley Twining (Sydney), Stephen (Brisbane), Suzanne and Brad Delley (Brisbane), and grandad to his five grandchildren in Sydney. William was the former husband of the late Nola Robertson (Queensland). Loved brother and brother-in-law of Gordon and Nancy (Queensland), Murray and Sallyann (Clyde), Jeffery and Christine (Nelson), and the late Ronald.
Thank you to the staff at Southland Hospital, and the ICU, 7B & 7C wards at Dunedin Hospital, for the wonderful care provided to William in his last few weeks.
A farewell for William will be held on Friday 2nd December 2022, 10am in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, Corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill. Interment at Eastern Cemetery will follow.
