On August 21, 2020, passed away at Burwood Hospital; aged 78 years. Dearly loved wife of Ernie, loved mother and mother-in-law of Brett and Alison, Scott, Susahn and Dave. Loving nana of Jessica, and Dalton. Sister and sister-in-law of Marilyn, Lesley and Bob, Jude and Ron. Messages may be addressed to the Alexander family, C/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. A Celebration of Janice’s life will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, Richmond, Christchurch, Tomorrow (Wednesday), at 1.00pm.

HAYES, Murray Bruce:
September 3, 1967 – August 21, 2020
Passed away surrounded by his family on August 21, 2020, as a result of an accident. Best friend and soulmate of Rachel, loved and respected father of Brookelyn and Kaleb. Much loved son of Shirley and the late Terry Hayes. Great friend and treasured brother and brother-in-law and uncle of Graeme and Janine, Jamie and Micah Hayes and treasured brother of Bronwyn Hayes. Murray’s service will be held on Friday, August 28, at 1.00pm at the Orwell Street Chapel, Oamaru. Due to Covid restrictions his service will be private with nominated persons attending and live-streaming may be available which will be advised on Facebook at a later date. HUDDLESTON, Elizabeth Clare (Betty):
Of 19 Welles Street, Ranfurly. Passed away in Dunedin Hospital surrounded by family on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, in her 86th year. Much loved wife of Bill, and cherished mother of Rex and Dala; Mark and Pauline; Belinda and Jeremy; and Garry*. Much loved nana of Sheree and Ollie, Thomas and Jenna, Nathan and Hannah, Raelene and Sam, Rebecca and Nathan; Gillian and Graeme, Joanna and Luke. Great-nana of Brooke, Kane, Hemi, Andy, Callum, Grace, Olivia and Thea. Special Thanks to Dr Verne Smith and the staff of Maniototo Hospital and the paramedics of the Otago Rescue Helicopter. Peacefully after a brave battle at Vickery Court on Sunday, August 23, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Joe Pollard.
