It is with very heavy hearts and deep sadness we advise Jeanette passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021, aged 62 years. Dearly loved wife of Neil. Treasured mum of Alan and Tracey. Much loved Nan of Shania, Tessa, Toby and Nikita. Loved daughter of the late Harold and Dot Withington. Loved daughter-in-law of Fay and the late Jack Gibb. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Anne and John, Heather and Neil*, Geoffrey and Diane, Ken and Kerren, Alastair and Lisa, Brian and Susan (Canada), Anne* and Jim. Of Queenstown. Passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, in his 79th year. Dearly loved husband of Irene, loved and respected father and father-in-law of Joanne and Gray; and Dougall and Lisa. Loved Poppa Rusty of Ben and Josh. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Sandra and Donald Lamont; Heather* and Bruce Miller; Rob and Lynley; Lois and Geoff Stevens; Cathryn Dermody; Gloria Kingdon and Mervyn; Neville Valli; and Paula and Ken Bell. A loved Uncle. A service for Russell will be held at Lake Hayes Pavillion, 1/719 Gibbston Highway, Queenstown, on Friday, January 21 at 1.00pm, followed by a private interment. JANNINK, Herman (Jim):
Formerly of Ophir, passed away peacefully at Ripponburn Care Home, Cromwell, after a courageous battle, on Friday, January 14, 2022, aged 94. Dearly loved husband of the late Nancy and the late Phyllis. Loved father and father-in-law of Gordon and Hilary; Anthony and Carol; Christopher and Rhemy; and Philip and Kunyanee. Loved Popa of Tineke; Rachael; and Stephen, and loved “Jim” of Ben, Tim, Michael, and Simon Smaill, and their families. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at St John The Baptist Catholic Church, 3 Killarney Street, Alexandra, at 1.00pm on Wednesday, January 19, followed by a private cremation.
